So, I totally dropped the ball with my posts last week, and to all 6 of you who read regularly (Hey Elise! Carlitos! Mom! Dad! Eve! Cat!) I am berry sorry, last week was insane at work. Well, the end of the week at least. My office participated in a chili cook off, and I'm not totally sure how or why I was put in charge, but I was, and I spent the better part of Thursday and Friday in a complete panic. Why? Who knows. But as I packed groceries in to my car after my fourth trip in to Kroger WAY too late on Thursday night I thought to myself, this better be freaking worth it. Well, it was! We won second place! I didn't even think I really liked chili, but after sampling 13498103871043 different ones and eating 2 bags of potato chips I realized I most certainly do. ANYWAY. This week is the best week ever! Why? Because Valentines Day is on Thursday! I love Valentines Day. Seriously. I mean, yes, I have a boyfriend and that makes it fun and all blah blah blah, but I really love it regardless. In high school I was the girl who sent everyone roses (you know, the ones they sell to benefit ______ charity?), and I love, love, love giving and receiving Valentines cards. Like seriously, does anything make your day better? I think not. There are so many great cards to choose from, but I am obsessing over these from Etsy, Sugar Paper, and Rifle Paper.
